Violations of the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act - depends on the circumstances; can be charged under normal Michigan laws and lose the immunity and defenses provided by the Michigan medical marijuana laws

This is just a short summary of some of the most common criminal drug charges you may be facing. Regardless of the charge, drug crimes can put you in jail or prison, cost you thousands of dollars, leave a permanent black mark on your criminal record, and cause the civil forfeiture of your money and property. In addition, a felony drug conviction leads to the automatic suspension of your driver's license with the Michigan Secretary of State. If you are facing a drug possession or other drug crime, you will want an aggressive criminal lawyer to protect your name and record. If you need a criminal lawyer in Flint, Grand Blanc, Genesee County, or anywhere in mid-Michigan, call our office at (810) 513-5315 to schedule a free consultation to ensure that your rights will be protected.

Here are some examples of what our criminal law firm will do for you:

  • challenge the validity of the traffic stop that led to your arrest

  • challenge the admissibility of incriminating statements as violation of your Miranda rights

  • get a proposed sentence delayed and/or deferred following the completion of drug treatment

  • motion to suppress drug evidence as a search and seizure violation of your Fourth Amendment rights

  • attack the probable cause or reasonable suspicion that led police to arrest you

  • assert medical marijuana defenses and use medical conditions as mitigating factors in sentencing and plea bargains

You may not think that you can afford to hire a criminal defense attorney to aggressively represent you on a drug charge, but can you afford the alternative: jail time, a criminal record, thousands of dollars in court costs, and possibly the loss of any child custody rights? If you need a drug possession defense attorney in Flint or are facing other criminal charges in the Flint area, contact our office at (810) 513-5315 for a free, confidential consultation and let us help defend you.
